The Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) is a not-for-profit organization in India that works to develop and implement skill development programs for the logistics and supply chain management industry. The LSC was set up in 2014 by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).

It also works with industry partners to promote the adoption of best practices and technologies in logistics and supply chain management.

Standards and Quality Assurance are responsible for the Qualification Packs, NOS, Participant Handbook, Facilitator Guides. They coordinate with the NSDC and NCVET to get the documents approved.

Apprenticeship Department who are responsible for apprenticeship training and placements.

Education Initiative Division – is responsible for collaborating with educational institutions and providing apprenticeship embedded programmes for college/university students.

Special Projects – This unit develops and delivers customized courses for clients and partners either offline or online. Industry Partnerships – This unit builds the relationships between LSC and the Logistics Companies.

Yes LSC provides online certification courses. On completion of the eLearning courses, the student can generate an eCertificate.
